Free Hollywood films showing in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City 13th June 2008

Six critically acclaimed films have been screened for free during the American Film Week in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from June 9-14. The films, including “Michael Clayton,” “Juno,” “Once,” “3:10 to Yuma,” “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly,” and “The Savages,” each explores diversified issues ranging from family affairs and love to social evils, with praised performances by George Clooney, Russell Crowe, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Christian Bale, Jennifer Garner, and Laura Linney, to name a few.

The films will be shown in English with Vietnamese subtitles. Free tickets are available in Hanoi at the National Movies Department, 147 Hoang Hoa Tham St., and the Hanoi Movies Club, 22 Hai Ba Trung St. In HCMC, tickets are available at the Galaxy Cinema, 230 Nguyen Trai St.
